Publication Policy
- The HLG International Journal Lex of Research and Journal is dedicated to maintaining high ethical standards and quality in academic publishing. Our publication policy ensures that every manuscript submitted to the journal undergoes a thorough review process to maintain the integrity, transparency, and relevance of the research we publish.
1. Manuscript Submission
- Authors can submit their manuscripts through our online submission portal or by email. All submissions must be original works that have not been previously published or are under consideration by any other journal. The submission must adhere to the journal’s formatting and citation guidelines to ensure uniformity.
2. Peer-Review Process
- Once submitted, every manuscript undergoes a double-blind peer review process. This means that both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous throughout the review process. Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers, who assess the quality, originality, and significance of the research.
- 3. Acceptance Criteria
Manuscripts are selected for publication based on the following criteria:
- Relevance: The research must align with the scope of the journal, contributing to fields of law, legal research, or interdisciplinary studies.
- Originality: The work should present new findings, perspectives, or innovative approaches to existing legal and academic problems.
- Academic Rigor: The research must be well-founded, appropriately cited, and methodologically sound.
- Ethical Standards: The submission should comply with the highest ethical standards in research and publication.
- Manuscripts that meet these criteria and receive positive recommendations from peer reviewers will be considered for publication.
4. Editorial Decision
After the peer-review process, the editorial board will make one of the following decisions:
- Accepted: The manuscript is accepted as it is, or with minor revisions.
- Revisions Required: The authors are requested to make revisions based on the reviewer’s feedback. Once resubmitted, the revised manuscript will undergo a second round of review.
- Rejected: The manuscript does not meet the journal’s criteria and will not be published.
- Authors will be notified of the editorial decision within a specified time frame, and the review process will be conducted with full transparency and fairness.
5. Manuscript Processing Fee
- A manuscript processing fee is applicable only after the paper is accepted for publication. There are no fees for submission or during the review process. This fee covers the cost of editorial work, journal website maintenance, DOI assignment, and indexing services.
6. Copyright and Licensing
- All published works are subject to the journal’s open-access policy and are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain full copyright to their work while allowing others to share and adapt their research with appropriate attribution.
7. Publication Ethics
- We take publication ethics seriously and expect all authors to uphold the highest standards. Any cases of plagiarism, data falsification, or unethical research practices will result in the rejection of the manuscript or retraction if discovered after publication.
- We also comply with global standards of research ethics, ensuring fairness and transparency at every step of the publication process. ‘Any conflict of interest’ should be disclosed by the authors at the time of submission.
8. Final Publication
- Once accepted, the manuscript will be copy-edited and formatted for final publication. Authors will be notified once their work is scheduled for publication in an upcoming issue of the journal. The final articles will be published both online and available in digital formats, making them accessible to a global audience.
